WaheguruJeeKaaKhalsa WaheguruJeeKeeFateh!!

Sangat Jee,

We would like to anounce another project we are setting up.

 logoEbay_150x70.bmp

At the Gurdwara we have a well stocked library but it seems to us that the majority of the Books, Tapes, CD's need to be in peoples homes where they are reading about or listening to Sikhi. Therefore a team has been set up to put as much as we can on EBAY, the popular auction site. You can find our Items for sale for searching for the member 'sevatothmax', or just search for Sikh or Sikhs in Books categories.

There are few project objectives to this venture.

1. Not to make a PROFIT.

2. All money to be ploughed back into the Library and other Parchar ventures.

3. To spread the Divine Knowledge of Sikhi to SIKHS and especially NON-SIKHS.

4. To make sure that it costs the minimum for the buyer for everything we sell, this will be the teams objective and they will research the prices continuously.

At the moment items are being sold on a Auction method, as soon as Ebay allows us we will put on the minimum 'Buy Now' price. Please bear in mind, that the low price is of the item and you must add the postage and packaging, frequent Ebayer's will know this.Wink

We hope Sangat takes on board this project and any comments and suggestions please mail the ebay related email address: sevatothemax@hotmail.co.uk.

Wha Wah Wahe Guru

In the april sun
the rebirthing has begun
of a soul rememebering the sound
of its forehead resting upon the ground
bowing to the rays of infinite light
that dispell the illusion of limited sight
it is clear now
we are here now
blossoming courage like a flower
pulsating rythm of the power
of humily’s sweet embrace
surrender glowing in the grace…

Wahe Guru

Funny isnt it?

WaheguruJeeKaaKhalsa WaheguruJeeKeeFateh!!

Nice email to forward to your Friends!!

Funny, isn't it?

Funny how simple it is for people to trash SIKHI and then wonder why the world's going to hell.

Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the GURUS HAVE SAID AND DONE says.

Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the GURU GRANTH SAHIB says. (Or is it scary?)

Funny how someone can say "I believe in WAHEGURU" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in WAHEGURU).

Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.

Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.

Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what WAHEGURU thinks of me.

(Are you thinking?)

WaheguruJeeKaaKhalsa, WaheguruJeeKeeFateh!!

Just wanted to share with the sangat something which made a normal Monday morning much better. As I was rushing around working hard this morning Undecided. I received a email from a Sikh Brother of mine at work. You probably have had this one sent to you but I thought as it was poignant for me it might be for others.

A POEM

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Sikh duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of waheguru to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before Waheguru,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands He held a book;
It was the book of life.
Waheguru looked into his book and said
Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down…
But never found the time"
