Dear Sangat Jee,

It is now 30 years on since the great sacrafice of those beloved gursikhs who stood against the Slander of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee by the Nirankaris.

We had published 2 posts which were posted last year. We would like to bring them to the attention of the Sangat again.

One is blog which detailed a lecture from Bhai Amolak Singh Jee who was very close to the Singh’s who gave shaheedi and actually went on the protest with those Singhs.

Sangat jee,

Some of those who were using STTM 2 quite frequently, noticed a few errors that needed resolving.

So this was a ideal time to test the Auto-update function.

This is probably a first for STTM and this facility is something that will make the need for new versions obsolete.

We will be able to add and repair the system when it has been flagged up.

We had tested the Auto-Update during testing but it will only be useful if it was tested by the Sangat.

You need to open STTM 2 and be conected to the Internet. Allow STTM 2 to access the Internet and the Auto-update will run.

If you look closely at the readme file the file has the relevant update info (C:Program FilesSikhiToTheMAX II):

12 April 2008 - Fixed sorting issue of Shabads (Laavan)
12 April 2008 - Added Laavan to Compiled Banis
12 April 2008 - Corrected versioning to 2.0.*

Sorry we didn’t notify earlier, but we need to test and thus the update was sent out.

We would like to remind you that it is the Youth Monthly Keertan Darbar tomorrow 05/04/08 7pm-Midnight. Please bless us with your Sangat.

We will have a stall up selling all kinds of things from Kirpans, Books on Dasam Granth Translations, all the Top Biographies of some of the Great Sikh Saints of the 21st Century, CD’s, Books for Kids, Karas and lots more. We try and sell everything for roughly same price we have bought from India.

This is not a post to make money, all the money we receive from the stall goes back into parchar, this might consist making more cd’s, websites, more software like SikhToTheMax, even more exciting projects which you will all hear very soon. Also if you haven’t got a STTM 2 CD take one from the stall, they’re free.

Also in the past few weeks you might have noticed that www.sevatothemax.com is having problems loading or very slow. This is due to our host having massive problems in the US. They say everything is fixed and we hope so. Please if you like this site and visit it, please post a note when you might experience problems.

First of all we would like to thank all the other Sikh Sites who helped us release SikhiToTheMax 2, without you help and the continuing problems we are having with the server our side we wouldn’t have made the impact we wanted to. Thank you also for all those who posted on their blogs and made others aware of the Software. Our biggest thanks goes to all those who made comments and suggestions about the software, without them we would not know how to improve the software or what we might have done wrong, we humbly beg forgiveness if anything is wrong and we will try and change as soon as we can.

We have uploaded the Help Videos onto YouTube under the Charity (S.H.A.R.E. Sikh History And Religious Education) page. The Video’s are in English and Punjabi. If you are a blogger or a website administrator, you can embed the videos onto you blog to raise awareness. Please mention the source of the videos as this is is the many ways we are trying to do parchar, you can either mention the websites or the YouTube link. To see the Videos please click on the link below. We are still in the process of linking the Punjabi Videos to the software and this will be done soon. We will also put the videos up for download in the near future, as they are much better quality.
