Warrior Quotes

Below are some quotes from some Martial Arts Masters which are related to Religion especially Sikhi much as Warriorship.

"Very few can recognise a true master. This is why he is a true master."

"Enlightenment is not a result of practice. It is Practice itself."

"Few can devote their whole lives devoted to the way."

"To lose everything is enlightenment."

"Lose your small tiny self and find your Universal self."

"In ancient days, we accepted everything in our training - whatever hardships and sacrifice. Nowadays, we pick and choose like we are Kings and Royalty at a huge feast."

"Saigo said "Do your best and leave the outcome to Heaven."

It would be interesting to find out what other Gursikhs think about the relationship with Sikhi and the above Quotes, please feel free to comment.

    Nice Quotes
registering my comments starting with ——-

“Very few can recognise a true master. This is why he is a true master.” —- A true master find the deserved pupil too, as the real master is full of kindness for everyone his knowledge is for everyone. A True master is like a Sun Light whoever want can benefit from it.

“Enlightenment is not a result of practice. It is Practice itself.”—-Sentiments are correct in this statement .

“Few can devote their whole lives devoted to the way.”—Yep ! but successful life is the one which is devoted to The Right Way.

“To lose everything is enlightenment.” —- I think it should be to lose the love of everything and thirst for “JUST ONE” is enlightenment .

“Lose your small tiny self and find your Universal self.”—Same sentiments as above and yes it is right.

“In ancient days, we accepted everything in our training - whatever hardships and sacrifice. –Nowadays, we pick and choose like we are Kings and Royalty at a huge feast.” —-I don’t think the old days everything was good and all the hardship and sacrifice are required, Humanity has progressed and Sikhism don’t advocate any kind of hardship or sacrifice as such only thing encouraged in a Sikh’s life is a normal life but the one without the intoxication of anything which some may think make them better or worse then anybody else.Abandoning the old is good, Guru Nanak Dev ji burnt the old houses after building the new ones. Guru Sahib abandoned the old evils in society and showed that no need to run into the jungles and waste times in rituals and not make life hard for the hell of it and respect the human body which is after all the most precious gift of God as human life is the best opportunity to come out of the death and life cycle.

    Thanks Punjabi Prontha.
